- If your cart is damaged, cracked, missing a lid, or missing wheels, please contact support@
besttrashtexas.com to request a no-charge replacement. Please specify which cart needs replacement. - Lost or stolen carts, as well as carts damaged due to negligence, misuse, or fire, are subject to a replacement fee of $85.00 plus tax.
- Set-Out Time: Place carts at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on collection days.
Trash Guidelines
- Use the provided cart for household refuse.
- Additional waste may be placed in containers (30–50 gallons) or bags under 40 lbs next to the cart.
- Bag all trash when possible.
Excluded Items: Dirt, rocks, bricks, concrete, tires, batteries, oils, paints, construction debris, hazardous materials. Do not dispose of liquids in concealed containers. Non-collected items will be tagged.
Heavy Trash
- Collected on both service days.
- Yard waste: Bundled, max 4 ft long, 4 in diameter, 40 lbs. Limit: 3 cubic yards (10 bags or bundles).
- Large items: Appliances, furniture, mattresses (limit 2 per day).
- Carpet: One room, cut <4 ft wide, bundled under 40 lbs.
- Refrigerators/freezers must be drained of Freon with proof of service.

Recycling
Accepted: Paper, cardboard, plastics (#1–5, #7), aluminum, tin, glass.
Remove caps and food residue. Do not use recycling carts for trash. Flatten cardboard and place next to the cart if oversized.
Holiday Schedule
If collection falls on New Year’s Day, Independence Day, or Christmas Day, service resumes on the next scheduled day.
